Api-driver

The API-Driver operates with all BookEye and WideTEK scanners. Our API-driver is specially developed ‘from scratch’ and will also work with the latest firmware. All functions of the scanner are fully used. There is also the possibility to automatically split and crop and deskew your document during the scan.

You can compare Alto-Xml with a searchable PDF, with text under Image. Because Alto-Xml works with x- en y-coordinates, it’s far more precise then a PDF though, especially if you want the searched word(s) to highlight.
