For BookEye scanners

Our programmers made this Api-driver compatible with BIQE. Our Api-driver works with all BookEye scanners.
One of the great features, especially when you scan a lot of documents, is the so called ‘area-scanning’:

User Defined Format

If you place an A4 sized book underneath an A2 sized scanner, usually the entire A2 area will be scanned – which would take about 8 to 10 seconds. With our ‘area-scanning’ feauture, only the A4 area is scanned – which takes about 3 to 5 seconds. In other words: this great feature will save you a lot of time and nuisance.

Or, when you scan a book with much bleed through, with our Api-driver you can just adjust the gamma, brightness and contrast, so the pages become lighter, with less bleed through.

Tip: In our experience, with BIQE it is easier to repair the letters by making them darker, with our 30 image filters, then trying to filter away the bleed through with all kinds of background filters. Filtering the backgrond from bleed through will only cause you to lose quality of the characters, which in the end negatively effects the OCR-recognition!
